比賽申請 – Entry Form National Day Cup 2025 (本會截期日 19/8/2025)

To celebrate the 76th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China, the LBA will organize the “National Day Cup 2025”, a special two-day event in 2025 to mark this occasion.

Date:       28^th September and 1^st October, 2025 (Sun & Wed); (Fall-back Date:7^th October, 2025)

Venue:     Private Clubs.  Finals at USRC.

Entries fee:  $400 per team. Maximum is 70 teams.

Condition of entries:  

Teams of 4 players in any gender, i.e. men only, women only or mixed.

Each club can send 1 team. Clubs that do not participate in the Premier League 2025 are guaranteed to have one team only. Club provides venue will be invited to have one more team. Clubs have an interest to enroll more teams are welcomed. All club entries will be given priority. Convenors are required to return the completed entry form to the LBA before the entry deadline.

Entries deadline: 25^th August, 2025 (Monday)

Prizes: The champion and runner-up of each section will be awarded prizes (subject to final entries).

Provisional conditions of play extracts:

• Two bowls per player. 8 ends per game. 
• All ends in round robin must be completed.
• No tie-break or extra ends are required in the round-robin stage. A time limit may apply.  The jack will be placed by the Skip at a legitimate point on the center line.
• The Duty Official will not entertain any request for measurement of jack length.
• Dead jack to be re-spotted to the 2-metre mark commonly known as the “T”.
• No head visit. Lead, Second and Third to stay at mat end before delivery of the Third’s second bowl. 
• Full conditions of play to be issued with the draw and fixtures.
• Only one substitute is allowed in each match. A substitute is not allowed to be the Skip in any match irrespective of the number of matches played.  A minimum of three of the original players have to play in each match.  No team can play with only three players. Players and substitutes in a team may not play in another team.
