Dear Convenors,
Please note the following arrangement for prize distribution of 2023 national championships and competitions as below:
The top four finishing teams (or singles players) of each standard national event will all receive a cash prize. For clarification purpose, IRC Invitation Triples and U25 Singles are excluded for cash prize distributions; only the winner and second of the Champion of Champions are entitled to a prize; and Aitkenhead Fours, Golden Bowls and Angela Chau Memorial Mixed Triples prizes have been dealt with separately.
Each permanent team member (or singles player) of the winning and first runners-up team of standard national events will be presented with a medallion at the annual presentation ceremony normally. The current plan is the medallion will be engraved with event and players name and comes in a display case. No additional trophy will be made or presented. For clarification purpose, Aitkenhead Fours, IRC Invitation Triples Golden Bowls and U25 Singles are excluded for medallion distributions.
Each prize recipient team (or singles player) is required to provide the cheque payee name in the form provided. Only one cheque will be issued for each event.
For Joint Third, we will deposit the prize after the annual presentation ceremony. Please provide the account number, payee name and the bank as attached for the Joint Third Prize Money.
Convenors are requested to return the completed form to us by 25 March, 2024 (Monday).
Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Regards,
